Minutes of Unit 145 Annual Meeting
October 22, 2011
The annual meeting took place during the supper at the Unit 145 Gala held at the Shriners on Saturday October 22, 2011 with 104 people in attendance.
President Sue Erwin called the meeting to order. The current board members were thanked for their service. Sue also acknowledged outgoing board members Judy Biegner and Brenda Iemma for their service.
Sue also presented awards to the past year’s winners of the Mini-McKenney and Ace of Club awards:

She also announced the winners of the morning session of bridge.
The Election Slate was put forth by the Nominating Committee Chair, Joe Brouillard:

Treasurer: Richard Tropper
Secretary: Lisa Eklund
The membership voted unanimously to approve the officers for calendar year 2011.
The proposed changes to the RIBA By-Laws were presented by Sue Erwin. The changes were approved unanimously.
The next sectional will be held January 28th and 29th at the Johnston Senior Center. We were also reminded that the 2014 Nationals will be held in Rhode Island.
Incoming President William Shockley presented Sue Erwin with a plaque thanking Sue for her many years of service to the Association.
Having no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned.
