Minutes of Unit 145 Annual Meeting

October 28, 2006

The annual Unit 145 Gala was held at the Imperial Room of the Shriners, in Cranston, RI on October 28, 2006 96 unit members were in attendance. Two items of business were conducted during the unit meeting which require documentation.

Item 1 - The election of officers for 2007 was conducted by Dr. David Prentiss, the Unit Vice President. The slate proposed by the nominating committee follows:

President: Bob Erwin

Vice-President: Joe Brouillard

Secretary: Sue Erwin

Treasurer: To be named at a later date.

The proposed slate was unanimously approved by the membership.

Item 2 - Changes to the Unit Bylaws were presented by Bob Erwin with discussion of one area of disagreement within the board. An amendment to the proposed changes to keep the Unit Secretary stipend at $500 was made and approved by over 2/3 of the members present. The changes to the Unit Bylaws were then approved, as amended, and were approved by a unanimous voice vote.
